We are loving life together! Being engaged and living together is wonderful. Of course life serves it's challenges, but together it is so much easier to take on. Since we created this website, we've been riding the thrill of the engagement wave. Click here for Engagement Party information and pictures. Our target wedding date is May 2014, so at this point, we're enjoying where we are in life. We are beginning to research possible venues and would love any ideas. Yippee, Yahoo, Hooray!
Mira and Jose have been together since their first date on Feb. 29, 2008 at the Thai House in Santa Rosa. At that first lunch date, they talked about their children, their love of poetry, their experience of initiation rites of passage and their love of nature. From that time on, they knew they had something special to share together. The summer of 2012 was a big time for them! Both of their daughters graduated High School and made plans for their futures. Mira and Jose got engaged on June 29, 2012, then moved in together two weeks later! This summer also marked Mira's 20 Year High School reunion that they attended together. Mira trained and ran her 2nd marathon while training for her first century bike ride. They took a road trip up to Portland and Jose traveled to India for work in addition to beginning to scout out wedding venues and plan their engagement party! Whew!
